
For today’s post, I knew I wanted to share something of the landscape. Such a challenging choice as there were so many beautiful sights and scenes from our trip to Scotland in September – of mountains and lakes and beaches, with every kind of weather wrapping them like a present. I chose Kilt Rock on the Trotternish peninsula, north of the town of Portree, on the Isle of Skye – so named because of the pattern of geological rock formations which resemble the plaid of local kilts. Included below is a bonus photo looking down the coast toward Portree.
