Oh, how I would love to have this clematis growing in my backyard this spring! However, many years back, a resident groundhog gobbled the entire vine up and I’ve been reluctant to get another. Maybe this spring now that I mounted a trellis against a wall in one of my garden beds. HERE is a photo of a relative of the being who enjoyed that Clematis meal all those years ago.
