I took this photo in 2011 from the car when Jim and I were on a road trip to Des Moines from our home in the Iowa City area. Something about fields that go on forever and big blue sky with clusters of clouds that make me happy. Perhaps I feel a connection to this land given that my paternal grandparents were both born in Iowa.
