Who knew? Squirrels eat coconut?! Well, I guess if those are the kinds of trees you have, you do what you have to do. This little guy was hard at work over several days, gnawing away on the hard outer shell of the coconut. I caught him after he’d broken through and gotten the hole big enough he could put his head and most of his body inside the coconut to drink the liquid and eat the feed on the inside.
