This photo was taken a few years back, before we had the new bridge over the Iowa River on Park Ave at Dubuque Street in Iowa City. The new bridge’s arches are now above the road, as shown through the fall leaves in the first photo below. Also included below are a couple of bonus photos – one looking south over W Iowa Ave and another looking west toward the new Hancher Auditorium with a view of the new pedestrian bridge which was built just after the traffic bridge.
