While on our summer vacation one year, Jim and I were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and quiet seaside villages on the Balearic island of Ibiza, Spain. The island is known as a party place, and, indeed, things can get loud and adventurous in the main town. However, if you venture out to the east or the west, you’ll find peaceful places perched up in the scrubby hills overlooking the Mediterranean sea. One of our favorite spots is Cala Moli, shown above when we were taking a lunch break.
