Kruja

In 2014, my husband and I took an adventurous summer vacation that included Albania. To be precise, it was adventurous because it included Albania! Here you see the remains of a fortress in the hilltop village of Kruja. We were there one night in a wonderful hotel that provided a magnificent view to the sea, once the clouds cleared (see bonus photo below). There was something magical about being up amidst the clouds (and serene about being off the roads!).
