I took this photo in June 2010 in Istanbul Turkey while my husband Jim and I were enjoying a sunny day on the Bosphorus sea. I was so pleased that when this man realized I wanted his photo, he stopped and posed for me. If you don’t know, a simit is a circular bread, typically encrusted with sesame seeds. It makes me smile recalling this trip, the beautiful location and wonderful people and food.
