I took this ‘accidental’ photo in Caltigirone, Sicily, Italy. I was trying to get a nice shot of the stairs with their varied tile designs, when my husband Jim walked into the frame. I thought he had ‘ruined’ my photo so I was surprised how his stepping in added some unique interest. (By the way, he swears by HOKA shoes!) Here’s another photo of La Scala so you can fully appreciate the grand staircase. In the first we are at the bottom and in the second we are at the top.
